Prima centers around Margo (Peltz Beckham), a prima ballerina molded by her strict grandmother (Dunaway), who also acts as a 'guardian of the art'. But things take a dramatic turn when the ballet company's head (Huston) marries a contemporary choreographer (Gabriel). This disrupts the company's established traditions and ignites a subtle, yet intense power struggle.

The screenplay, currently in production, is penned by Jenny Taylor-Whitehorn, adapted from a script by Allie Avital & Alia Azamat Ashkenazi, and based on a story and character by Peltz Beckham. Bunny Films and Will McCance (Apex, Lola) are on board as producers.
